1. Mount Dora Fun Fact - Mount Dora has officially been designated a “Trail Town” by Florida Greenways and Trails. Besides this being an all around great designation, this also gives us a better opportunity for trail project funding.

2. Appointment to the CRA Advisory Committee - Patrick Murray was unanimously appointed.

2. Lobbyist Update


CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT - The City and the County have finalized the Amendment to the JPA and the final version will be placed on the City’s May 16, 2023, agenda and the County will place the Amendment on its May 23, 2023 agenda. Lewis Stone with the firm of Stone & Gerken, P.A. has been agreed upon to act as the Magistrate related to the Florida Statutes, Section 70.51 proceeding for the AMCO Development on SR 46. The City and the Developer are in the process of coordinating the process with the Magistrate.
