1. Second Workshop Wastewater (Sewer) Connection/Impact Fees-A Workshop Dedicated to the Extraordinary Circumstances Necessitating the Need to Exceed Phase-In Limitations; A Demonstrated-Need Study Justifying Fee Increases and Phase-In Thresholds Beyond Standard Statutory Thresholds. This is the second workshop presentation to City Council regarding Wastewater (Sewer) connection/impact fees dedicated to the extraordinary circumstances necessitating the need to exceed the rate increase limitation and phase-in limitations for possible increases.

1. Certificate of Recognition for Sophie Breney

2. Mount Dora Fun Fact - in the two years since Mayor Stile has been collecting metal cans for recycling from residents a total of 11,487 pounds of cans have been collected and recycled. That duties to just under $2,100 that has been donated to Lake Cares Food Pantry.

CONSENT AGENDA - The Consent Agenda passed 7-0.

1. Request Approval of the Amended and Restated Parking Agreement between the City of Mount Dora Florida, the City of Mount Dora Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), and The First United Methodist Church, Inc.

2. Request Approval of Designation of Acting City Manager for Future Leave

3. Request Approval of Meeting Minutes

PUBLIC HEARINGS - RESOLUTIONS/ORDINANCES

1. Public Hearing Request approval of First Reading of Ordinance No. 2024-11, Wastewater (Sewer) Connection/Impact Fees Amendment. This passed 7-0.

2. Request approval of First Reading of Ordinance No. 2024-12, Amendment to Chapter 42 of the Mount Dora Code of Ordinances to reinstate Golf Carts on Certain City Streets. This passed 7-0.

CITY MANAGER'S REPORT - the repaving of Donnelly St from Limit to the Waterman Bridge will begin June 1st.

CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT - the Special Magistrate order concluded in favor of AMCO Development. The mixed use project on SR 46 will ore than likely come before City Council for vote again on June 4, 2024.

1. Commercial Visual Improvement Program (CVIP) Grant Agreement for 1518 N. Donnelly Street (Tenant Essential Therapies). This passed 7-0.

2. Request Approval of the Amended and Restated Parking Agreement between the City of Mount Dora Florida, the City of Mount Dora Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), and The First United Methodist Church, Inc. This passed 7-0.
