PRESENTATIONS


1. Mount Dora Fun Fact - In honor of Small Business Saturday a photograph of Donnelly Street businesses from the 1960’s was shown and we were reminded to support our small businesses.


2. Presentation of Wolf Branch City of Mount Dora Resolution by Country Club of Mount Dora Residents. A presentation was made to City Council urging we collaborate with the County and the State to adopt protections for the Wolf Branch Sink and Basin. The presentation included information on our aquifer and how important it is to protect this resource.


3. Small Business Saturday Proclamation

1. Request Approval for Code Lien Waiver for 404 Grant Avenue (overgrown lot)


2. Request approval for purchase of four new SludgeKing sludge dewatering boxes from Trippensee Shaw, Inc. for WWTP1 and WWTP2 in the amount of $299,700.00


3. Request approval of the National Purchasing Cooperative Interlocal Participation Agreement between the City of Mount Dora and BuyBoard


4. Request approval of agreement between the City of Mount Dora and DebtBook related to debt, lease, and subscription management


5. Request approval of meeting minutes

PUBLIC HEARINGS - RESOLUTIONS/ORDINANCES


1. Request approval of Resolution No. 2023-59, updating the City of Mount Dora Electric Utility Department Customer-Owned Renewable Generation Policy. This passed 7-0


2. Request Adoption of Resolution No. 2023-22, City Sidewalk Bank Policy. This passed 7-0


City Manager Report - City Council provided direction to move forward with adding The Community Building to the Historic Registry and adding a historic marker to the building.


City Attorney Report - Mr. Brackins provided an update on the Consent Order issued by the FDEP. A proposed task authorization has been drafted and provided to the engineering firm Kimley Horn for acceptance. This task authorization will address many of the requirements in the Consent Order issued by the FDEP.
