CONSENT AGENDA


1. Request Approval of Amendment 1 to the Agreement Between the City of Mount Dora and Accurate Power and Technology, Inc. This is a request for City Council to approve Amendment 1 to the existing Agreement with Accurate Power and Technology, Inc. for providing generator maintenance services for City of Mount Dora generators. There is no budget impact at this time.


2. Request Approval of Agreement between the State of Florida and the City of Mount Dora for the Simpson Farmhouse Project. This revised agreement is from the Florida Department of State, which has awarded the City of Mount Dora a 100% matching grant in the amount of $50,000 for restoration of the Simpson Farmhouse. The following renovations are included in the grant:

-Repair/restoration/replacement of 16 windows, two first floor doors, 6 fixed unit doors and one pair of French doors. This is the most critical restoration item.

-Restroom renovation - removal and replacement of all fixtures and flooring.

-Kitchen restoration - removal and replacement of all fixtures and flooring.

-Restoration of interior walls and flooring - if budget allows.


3. Request Adoption of Resolution 2022-81, Supporting Medical Marijuana Facility Regulation Legislation. This is an opportunity for Council to adopt Resolution No. 2022-81, supporting Medical Marijuana Facility Regulation Legislation. The steady stream of citizen complaints has made it clear the noise and odors emanating from medical marijuana facilities in the community are negatively impacting the quality of life in the City of Mount Dora, and elected officials for both Lake County and the City of Mount Dora continue to receive complaints regarding the impact such facilities have on their daily lives.


4. Request Approval of Resolution No. 2022-79, Adding Monday, July 3, 2023 to the City's Observed Holiday Schedule. This is a request for City Council to approved Resolution No. 2022-79, Adding Monday, July 3, 2023 to the City's Observed Holiday Schedule.

1. Request approval Final Reading (Adoption) of Ordinance No. 2022-20, Final PUD Master Plan for Vista Hills. This is the second and final reading of this Ordinance, nothing has changed.
