CONSENT AGENDA


1. Request approval for the purchase of a storage server for Citywide usage in the amount of $167,000 purchased under the NASPO (WSCA) contracting agreement. Associated agenda documents and attachments are confidential and exempt under Florida Statue Associated agenda documents and attachments are confidential and exempt under Florida Statute 119.0725(b) and/or (d). This is a request for City Council to approve the purchase of a storage server for Citywide usage in the amount of $167,000 under the NASPO (WSCA) contracting agreement.


2. Request approval for the purchase of Network security appliances and endpoint protection infrastructure in the amount of $78,734.46 with OMNIA. Associated agenda documents and attachments are confidential and exempt under Florida Statue Associated agenda documents and attachments are confidential and exempt under Florida Statute 119.0725(b) and/or (d). This is a request for City Council to approve the purchase of Network security appliances and endpoint protection infrastructure in the amount of $78,734.46 under the OMNIA contracting agreement.


3. Request approval for endpoint refresh in the amount of $62,517.89 with NASPO. Associated agenda documents and attachments are confidential and exempt under Florida Statue Associated agenda documents and attachments are confidential and exempt under Florida Statute 119.0725(b) and/or (d). This is a request for City Council to approve endpoint refresh in the amount of $62,517.89, which is being purchased under the NASPO contracting agreement.

ACTION ITEMS

1. Request Ratification of a Purchase Outside the Parameters of the City Purchasing Policy in the amount of $50,245 for Conduit Installation with Bellmore Enterprises Incorporated for street lighting on Donnelly St. at Waterman Village and Authorize the Mayor to Execute the Task Authorization associated with this Purchase. As part of the new Waterman Village project, overhead lines were placed underground along its property on Donnelly Street.  In order to light the roadway, decorative lights were purchased that match the decorative lights within the Waterman village property and throughout that part of the city. As part of this project, Bellmore has installed road crossings and foundations for the new lights. They have installed 2,908 feet of underground conduit adhering to the guidelines contained within their contract, ITB 19-PW-031, scope of services. The City Electric Utility staff will complete all remaining portions of construction. The City Manager was advised of the installation of the conduit without issuance of a task authorization and purchase order on November 22, 2023, after the work was completed.

ACTION ITEMS

1. Request Adoption of Resolution No. 2023-57, Amendment to the North East CRA Interlocal Agreement with the City of Mount Dora. This is an update to the Interlocal Agreement to add Community Policing to the agreement.  The Interlocal Agreement outlines the duties and responsibilities of the City and the Northeast CRA, and defines the uses of the Northeast CRA funds. Resolution No. 2017-79 (Northeast-CRA), Interlocal Agreement City of Mount Dora and Northeast CRA Board was originally approved on June 20, 2017.

1. Request Adoption of Resolution No. 2023-56, Amendment to the CRA Interlocal Agreement with the City of Mount Dora. This is an update to the Interlocal Agreement to add Community Policing to the agreement.  The Interlocal Agreement outlines the duties and responsibilities of the City and the CRA, and defines the uses of the CRA funds. Resolution No. 2017-81 (CRA), Interlocal Agreement City of Mount Dora and CRA Board was originally approved on June 20, 2017.
