CONSENT AGENDA


1. Request Adoption of Resolution No. 2022-70, Approval for Light Up Mount Dora Fireworks Display. This year's Light Up Mount Dora will feature a fireworks display visible from Elizabeth Evans Park. Section 22-48 of the City of Mount Dora Code of Ordinances requires City Council approval for fireworks.


2. Request Authorization to Purchase Fiber Optic Equipment and Installation from Precision Contracting Services, Inc., in the Amount of $510,032.18, to Extend Fiber From the Existing Fiber Trunk to the New Fire Station #35, Wastewater Treatment Plant #1, Perc Ponds (for Solar Farm) Near Fire Station #35, Lateral Extension to the Parking Garage and to Complete the Fiber Move to Underground on Royellou as Part of the Electric Department Underground Project. This is a request for authorization to purchase fiber optic equipment and installation in the amount of $510,032.18, to extend fiber to the locations mentioned above.

PUBLIC HEARINGS - RESOLUTIONS/ORDINANCES


1. Request Adoption of the Single Reading (Final/Adoption) Ordinance No. 2022-18, Small-Scale Future Land Use Map Amendment for Green Wheat LLC and Donnelly LLC  (1.14 Acres). The applicant is requesting an amendment to the City's Future Land Use Map. The proposed amendment will change approximately 1.14 acres from Lake County Urban Low Density (4 dwelling units per acre) to City Low-Medium Density (4 du/ac). Located on the east side of SR 44 and south of Meadenhall Boulevard (site address: 18310 and 18514 SR 44).


2. Request Approval of First Reading of Ordinance No. 2022-19, Change in Zoning for Green Wheat, LLC and Donnelly, LLC. The property requires assignment of a City zoning and land use designations. As such, the applicant has applied to rezone the property from County Agriculture to City R-1A. This proposed zoning is consistent with the surrounding single-family zoning districts.


3. Request Approval of Final Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 2022-26, Amending City of Mount Dora Code of Ordinances, Chapter 2, Article VIII, Boards and Commissions, Division 1, Generally. On July 5, 2022, councilmembers agreed upon certain membership standards that would apply to all boards and commissions created by City Council appointment as described in the City's Code of Ordinances. Ordinance No. 2022-26 is the first step in formally establishing this uniformity regarding board and commission membership, revising Chapter 2, Article VIII, Division 1, in the City's Code of Ordinances, which contains general information applicable to all city-appointed boards and commissions.


4. Request Adoption of Resolution No. 2022-68, Revising CRA Advisory Committee. Resolution No. 2022-68 repeals the prior resolution creating the CRA Advisory Board and updates the terms of the Board to reflect the new standards defined by Council at the July 5, 2022 meeting.


5. Request Adoption of Resolution No. 2022-69, Revising Northeast CRA Advisory Board. Resolution No. 2022-69 repeals the prior resolution creating the Northeast CRA Advisory Board and updates the terms of the Board to reflect the new standards defined by Council at the July 5, 2022 meeting.
